Happy Decision Making ;)

Every single decision we make in our day to day life shapes our current reality and is responsible for what we become in life.

Any decision that you make causes a chain of events to happen.

When you decide to pick up a cigarette to smoke it, that decision might lead you to pick up another one later and an entire pack the next day without even knowing it. But if you decide not to smoke that first cigarette and make a decision every five minutes to distract your mind from it's craving, after a week, your cravings will eventually subside and you will not smoke. But the toughest part is to take that very first decision of deciding whether or not to pick up that cigarette.

What do you do when you have to take a tough decision?

Firstly, get rid of your Fear

Negative emotions like fear, panic, stress, anger, blame, etc undermine the brain's capacity to think broadly, limits the options and causes us to lose flexibility and the ability to take correct decisions.

Relax and Clear your mind before making any decision

Positive emotions increase awareness and attention and help you to take in more information which is essential to see the bigger picture, to look for an opportunity and to find solution for the problem.

Analyse the Situation

Consider a decision you are making right now. It can be a small or big decision. It can be regarding your friends, your love life, your career, your business, your health, and so on.

Look out for the main options you are considering with respect to this decision. Write them down. Now that you are done, rethink those options and ask few questions.

Which option would you wish to be living a year from today?
What would be your life like in each option?
Why?
Be as detailed as possible.

Think ahead of Time

Mentally go ahead a year into the future. By adopting a future perspective, it removes us from our present situation. This helps us to weigh the decision more consciously. What might have seemed crucial from a three to five month period passes away when we look at the situation from a one year or three years point of view.

It helps you to instantly “see” the realities of each option over time. Upon “seeing” the outcomes, you get the answer to your question. Those things that might seem important in the short term but did not matter in the long run thereby ending the decision making dilemma.

Ideal Perception

You need to adopt a different state of mind, if you want to get out of your current problem. This prevents you from making indirect decisions. You have to adopt the mindset of someone who has already solved the problem and clarity is very important to get out of your problems permanently.

When you make a decision, act on it.

Commit to making a real decision. What’s a real decision? It’s when you decide on something, and that decision is carried out through action. It’s pointless to make a decision in your head, but not doing anything about it. That’s the same as not making a decision at all. If you want to make real changes in life, you have to make it a habit to take necessary steps for your decision until it’s completed.

Take time and give careful thought to your decision

Try to examine the situation from all possible angles.Make the small decisions with your head and big decisions with your heart. Opportunities are always waiting for you but check the decisions that you currently have in the day. Are there any decisions that can be changed to improve your life in some way? Are there any decisions that you can make today that can create a better tomorrow?

Finally, enjoy the process

I know decision-making might not be the most fun thing in the world to do, but when you do it often, it becomes a game of opportunity. It's a learning process and you will understand a lot about yourself, you will feel and become a lot more confident when you’re with yourself and around others.

Decision making is never easy, but it will just become a lot easier when we make up our minds that we move forward in life. If you use all these methods and get the same answer, then it’s a clear sign that this is the path to take.

Don't forget to Smile :)

Smiling more is a great thing for your life. It doesn’t cost you anything to do it and you can actually fake it and get the same big results.

So before you read on, slap a nice, genuine smile😊on that face of yours.

Smile sets right even a bad situation

If you're having a rough time, one excellent way to improve your mood is to smile. Seriously, if you want to feel better about a bad or tough situation, putting on a smile can instantly improve your mood, helping you feel better. Smiling can actually make you more comfortable in situations you would otherwise feel awkward.

Improves self confidence and social life

When you smile, people treat you differently because smiling is an inviting and attractive expression which makes you appear more approachable, reliable, relaxed and sincere to others. Interaction with others becomes easier and more enjoyable when smiles and laughs are shared. These behaviours are contagious which lift the moods of those around us.

Find things to smile and laugh about

Once you start consciously looking at all the things that are funny and uplifting, you will be more aware of them, and more ready to engage in a spontaneous smile or laugh. Surrounding yourself with happy, fun-loving, optimistic people will bring out your happy side.

Smile has a positive effect on your health

One of the easiest and cheapest ways to boost your health and even your success is to smile. The more you smile, the more effective you are in stopping the brain to think negative thoughts. It reduces our stress, relaxes the body and makes us feel happier. And it can even lengthen our lives!

Smiles do a lot more than simply let the world know you’re happy.

With all of the benefits above, who wouldn’t want to start smiling more?😉

Feelings

From the moment you are born, you are always feeling something, and so is every other person. You can stop your conscious thoughts when you're sleeping, but you can never stop feeling, because to be alive is feel life.

How you feel in any one moment is more important than anything else, because how you feel right now is creating your life. Your thoughts and words have no power at all in your life without your feelings. You think so many thoughts in a day that don't amount to anything because many of your thoughts don't elicit a strong feeling within you. It's what you feel that matters!

Like everything else in life, your feelings can be either positive or negative; you have good feelingsor bad feelings. All good feelings come from love! And all negative feelings come from a lack of love.

The better you feel, like when you feel joyful, the more love you give out. And the more love you give, the more you receive.

The worse you feel, like when you feel despair, the more negativity you give out. And the more negativity you give, the more negativity you receive back in life.

The reason you feel so bad with negative feelings is because love is the positive force of life, and negative feelings don't have that much love in them!

The better you feel, the better life gets.

The worse you feel, the worse life gets - until you change how you feel.

Your good feelings harness the force of love - the power to everything good in life. Your good feelings tell you this is the way to what you want. Your good feelings tell you that when you feel good, life will be good! But you have to give good feelings first!

You have to be happy first, and give happiness, to receive happy things! You are in command of your feelings, you are in command of your love, and the force of love will give back to you whatever you give out.
